Also the most likely allergy-causing foods are cow’s milk, eggs, peanuts, shellfish, crabs, citrus fruits, pineapples, wheat grains and products, brinjals, etc.It is greater in boys under the age of 5 years but higher incidence is in girls later in childhood and puberty. Food allergy leading to Perennial Rhinitis is more in infants than in adults.• Symptoms Symptoms of seasonal Rhinitis are sneezing followed by watery nasal discharge; nasal obstruction worse in the night, itching of nose, eyes, palate and ear. Itching of eyes is followed by redness of eyes.Perennial Allergic Rhinitis is often associated with secondary symptoms like loss of smell , loss of taste, sinusitis, , disturbances in sleep, snoring, lassitude, fatigue, irritability, early night cough, etc.If sinusitis is present, tenderness of the sinuses are found on Physical Examination.
